AI Agents Directory is the biggest pure agent directory: 2,953 agents plus a skills catalog of 3,004 entries, with the strongest SEO footprint in the category, including alternatives and comparison pages most rivals lack. Pricing is unusually transparent: free listing with a required badge backlink, then one-time tiers from $19 to $499. The honest caveats are that the skills side has stalled, listing quality is uneven, and the site has recently pivoted energy into a crypto token, which is worth factoring into how much you rely on it long term.
AgentLocker has the best individual listing pages in the space: real user reviews, pricing model fields, integration data and freshness dates across 3,554 agents and AI tools. If you are evaluating a specific agent, its page there probably tells you more than anywhere else. Promotion is subscription-based, $139 per month for featured placement with a dofollow link and $275 per month for a site sponsor. The weakness is taxonomy: 84 overlapping categories mix agents with generic AI tools, which makes browsing noisier than it should be. No MCP or skills coverage.
AI Agents List is the closest to us in scope: the only agent directory that also lists MCP servers, with 608 agents and 593 servers under a clean 15-category taxonomy that is genuinely pleasant to browse. The tradeoffs sit in the listings and the door: pages carry deep SEO copy but no screenshots, structured pricing data or real reviews, there is no free tier, and submission pricing is gated behind an eligibility check, with sponsorships at $29 to $99 per month. Best for buyers who value a tidy taxonomy over deep listing data.
