Official SpriteFuse hosted OAuth MCP connection configurations and documentation; proprietary backend not included
Official connection configurations for the hosted SpriteFuse MCP server.
Endpoint: https://spritefuse.com/api/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP
Authentication: OAuth using your own SpriteFuse account
Official registry identity: com.spritefuse/spritefuse
This repository contains public client configurations and documentation. The hosted SpriteFuse backend is proprietary and is not included. The MIT license covers the configuration and documentation in this repository; it does not grant a license to the hosted backend or service content. SpriteFuse branding remains owned by SpriteFuse.
In a client that supports remote Streamable HTTP and OAuth, add the endpoint above and complete the sign-in prompt.
For Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http spritefuse https://spritefuse.com/api/mcpFor Cursor, use the configuration in mcp.json. For Claude Code plugin consumers, use .claude-plugin/plugin.json with .mcp.json. For Gemini CLI extension consumers, use gemini-extension.json. These are connection packages for the same remote service; no local server binary or npm package is required.
The manifests follow the clients' documented configuration formats. Cross-client end-to-end OAuth testing is still pending; a manifest validation result does not establish successful client authentication. Check the current connection guide for supported clients and limits.
The hosted server currently exposes 11 tools:
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
get_capabilities | Inspect available capabilities and current limits |
get_account | Inspect your authenticated account and credit information |
create_sprite_job | Create a character, animation, or revision job |
get_sprite_job | Inspect a job's status and outputs |
list_sprite_jobs | List your jobs |
cancel_sprite_job | Cancel one of your jobs |
list_projects | List your projects |
list_assets | List your assets |
create_reference_upload | Start a private reference-image upload |
update_animation_timing | Adjust individual frame durations |
export_sprite | Export PNG frames, sprite sheets, GIF previews, and metadata |
Generation consumes the signed-in account's SpriteFuse Credits. Each generation request requires a maximum credit budget. Jobs are asynchronous and subject to account and daily limits. New accounts receive trial credits for personal noncommercial evaluation; see the official documentation for the current amount, expiry, and commercial-use terms. Account reads, timing updates, and exports do not incur generation Credits.
Confirm the intended character, animation, or revision and the maximum credit budget before creating a job. Start with get_capabilities and get_account, create the approved job, inspect its status, then adjust timing and export the completed asset. Tools access only the authenticated account's jobs, projects, and assets. Never paste OAuth tokens into chat or commit credentials.
Public metadata and documentation checked on 2026-10-15. The server's official registry metadata is preserved in server.json.

claude mcp add --transport http spritefuse https://spritefuse.com/api/mcpThis server doesn't publish a machine-readable tool manifest, and it doesn't expose a public endpoint we could ask. Connect the server locally to see what it exposes.
